A beautiful, rare, vintage leather chesterfield suite with buttoned seating and kidney bean shaped seat fronts. Quite a stunning set comprising a 4 seater sofa, a club chair and round backed wing chair. Traditional construction - stuffed with horsehair and wadding. Approx 50-70 years old. Has been professionally restored. Structurally sound. In very good condition.

The restoration included restuffing of areas on the sofa and on the chair seats where the leather had worn through and some of the original stuffing had been lost. A number of the leather diamonds have been replaced. The leather on all the pieces has been rehydrated to bring back its suppleness and lengthen the life of the leather and where necessary the leather has been reantiqued to bring back its original colouring.
